Boarders in Mymwood House were treated to an impromptu moongazing session on Trew Lawn this week, courtesy of Dr Boyce’s telescope.

October’s full moon is often referred to as the Hunter’s Moon, and this year it’s also a supermoon.

A supermoon happens when the full moon is at its closest point to Earth, called the perigee, which is around 226,000 miles away.
