Would you like to take part in the world's largest garden wildlife survey? If so, you can choose any hour between 24 and 26 January to join the RSPB in their Big Garden Birdwatch 2025.

All you have to do is count the birds you see in your garden, in a local park or from your balcony. Only count the birds landing in your patch, not the ones just flying over. To avoid double-counting, just record the highest number of each bird species you see at any one time – not a running total.

So enjoy the nature on your doorstep and count the birds that are counting on you!
