Calling All Young Creatives: Dive into the World of Rotary Youth Competitions!


Are you a budding artist or a keen photographer? Do you have a passion for capturing the world around you or expressing your creativity through art? If so, get ready to unleash your talents and dive into the exciting world of the Rotary Young Artist and Young Photographer Competitions 2024-25!

This year’s theme, ‘Wonderful Water’, invites you to explore the diverse and captivating aspects of water in any way you see fit. From the gentle ripple of a pond to the powerful force of a waterfall, from the microscopic wonders within a drop to the vastness of the ocean, the possibilities are endless. Let your imagination flow and show us what ‘Wonderful Water’ means to you!


Two Ways to Express Your Creativity:

1. Rotary Young Artist Competition:
Grab your brushes, pencils or digital drawing tools and bring your artistic vision to life! Whether you prefer painting, drawing, collage, printmaking or digital art, all mediums are welcome. Create a 2-dimensional masterpiece (up to A2 size) that captures the essence of ‘Wonderful Water’.

2. Rotary Young Photographer Competition:
Capture the beauty and power of water through the lens of your camera or phone! Whether you're drawn to stunning landscapes, abstract patterns, or the intricate details of water droplets, show us your unique perspective. Submit a digital photograph (at least 1500 pixels on the longest side) that tells a story about ‘Wonderful Water’.


Who Can Participate?

Both competitions are open to young people aged 10-17, divided into three age groups:

  • Junior: Up to 10
  • Intermediate: 11-13 years old
  • Senior: 14-17 years old
    (Age as of 31 August 2024)
