Queenswood has once again been ranked as the top school in the country for girls’ tennis by the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) in the 2024 end-of-year rankings. In a historic first, our B team also secured an impressive No.5 ranking in the UK.

This achievement caps off an extraordinary year for Queenswood tennis. In June, our A team triumphed at the U18 National Championships, while our B team were runners-up – an historic first for this prestigious competition. The success continued in December, when our Year 9 & 10 team were crowned LTA Youth Schools National Champions.

On the international stage, Queenswood proudly represented England in October at the ISF World Gymnasiade in Bahrain, an elite multi-sport event often described as the ‘School Olympics’. Competing against national champions from around the world, our team secured a remarkable 4th-place finish among 10,000 athletes.

Further demonstrating our strength in player development, several Queenswood students are currently competing for Great Britain at the Winter Cup in the U14 and U16 age categories.
