CATHERINE SLUTER, OQ AND DIRECTOR OF TENNIS

It was a victory for the OQ team in our annual alumnae vs 1st XI hockey match on Thursday 20 March, cheered on by an enthusiastic crowd of former students and their families. Among the supporters were several boarders who came down to support the 1st XI, as well as a student watching her mother play for the OQs!

It was a fantastic game with end-to-end hockey from start to finish. The OQs held on to a 1-0 lead going into half-time, with the goal coming from Anna Shaw. In the second half Anna scored again to extend the OQ lead, before the 1st XI came back with a fantastic goal from Maya O (Year 12). The OQs managed to finish the game with two further goals from Rebecca Hurley and Sofia Martin, finishing the night off 4-1. It was a special night for one family in particular, with Chloe M and Yasmin M playing for the OQs, and sister Emily in her last year in the 1st XI.
