The annual ski trip, this year to Les Deux Alpes in France, took place in the first week of the Easter holidays. It was a huge success, with pupils and staff enjoying six days of snow-based action on and off the piste.

Ms Garrood (Head of Clapham South) summed up the week perfectly:

This year Les Deux Alpes is where Queenswood are,
Where Elicia’s giggles have set the bar.

Dr V has had falls, ending up on her knees,
and Maddison somehow lost one of her skis.

Mila and Maggie had a nap in the sun,
While Annabella made snowballs, ready for fun.

She planned to fight our rivals, but they chickened out,
Racing back for the pasta we’ll be boycotting, no doubt!

Sofia devoured 88 Kinder bars with glee,
As Kitty’s been glued to her phone, as happy as can be.

Everyone’s achy, everyone’s numb,
But poor Miss Hawksfield has broken her thumb!

What a trip, what a laugh, a memory to keep,
This week has been great, we’ll laugh ’til we weep!
