ELISKA B, YEAR 12

On 27 November, students attended the Computer Science in Action conference at the Emmanuel Centre in London, organised by Education in Action. The event was filled with engaging presentations, offering insights into some of the most exciting developments in the field, particularly Artificial Intelligence.

One of the sessions focused on the speakers unexpected journey into tech, showing how passion and persistence can lead to amazing opportunities. Another highlight was learning how software can be designed to solve real-world problems effectively, emphasising the importance of creativity and critical thinking in computer science.

The talks were informative, inspiring, and easy to follow, giving students fresh insights into how technology works, as well as the many career paths available in the field. By the end of the day, everyone walked away with new ideas and motivation to explore the ever-growing world of computer science further.
