On Wednesday 3 September, all of Queenswood’s new International Boarders took part in a range of fun activities in order to get toknow one other. A series of discussions and role-plays explored such
topics as managing new situations, homesickness and the appropriate use of
shared languages. 

The Sixth Form girls enjoyed the opportunity to
‘interview’ International Prefect May Ching Lai who kindly shared her
experience of life as an international boarder at Q. All girls enjoyed the final ‘runaround cultural references
quiz’ in which they tried to identify people, places and food using only word
prompts.  Examples ranged from David Cameron and Thorpe Park to bangers
and mash!

In the evening, the Middle School Boarders enjoyed a meal at Pizza Express.
