Queenswood community shows tremendous generosity

We would like to thank all parents, girls and staff who contributed in any way to our Charity week in December.
We collected a great deal of produce for our local Trussel Trust Food Bank, and hundreds of items for the Welwyn Hatfield Women’s Refuge. Your donations filled Mrs Wakefield’s office, and will have made a real difference to people in need over the Christmas period.
On Friday 9 December we held our annual Christmas Fair in the Old Pool Hall. Tutor groups set up stalls in the Old Pool Hall, offering a range a traditional and innovative festive challenges – from Sponge the Teacher to competitive Water Bottle Flipping – and competed to raise the most money for the House charities.
