GCSE Drama presents Alice
Saturday 14 March 2020
GCSE Drama students staged a truly psychedelic production of Alice, Laura Wade’s modern adaptation of the Lewis Carroll classic, in early March.
There were so many bold and dynamic performances on stage, and the soundtrack of goth and emo music really enhanced the atmosphere.
This was the last production before lockdown forced us to abandon live theatre, and some of the messages of the play – ‘You Don’t Know What Life Will Throw At You’; ‘Things Get Better With Time’ – proved to be poignant and prescient.
