Covid friendly*, outdoor Drama for Year 12 this week as students explored Greek Theatre. They performed on the outdoor tennis courts facing the stone seating of the Pavilion (the closest they could get to an amphitheatre!) Here is an example of a choral ode from Aristophanes' Lysistrata.

*The students rehearsed indoors, socially distanced and wearing masks, within their year group bubble. The brief performance was done outside, with all performers facing forward (as would have been the case in a Greek amphitheatre) to avoid breathing in each others’ faces.
