A packed audience in the Ernest Read Hall  were treated to a truly uplifting evening of music on Wednesday 8 June, as a record number of pupils from Years 7, 8 and 9 performed in the Lower School Singing Competition.

For some, this was their first experience of live performance at Queenswood, and it’s fair to say that they rose to the occasion admirably.

We were honoured to welcome Luke Bayer, star of the smash West End hit musical, Everyone’s Talking About Jamie as our adjudicator. His comments and advice to the performers were especially warm and encouraging, and he praised their bravery and sensitivity.
