This week in Chapel we have been treated to some glorious musical performances from Queenswood’s string groups.

On Monday, the Melisma String Quartet played part of the first movement of Beethoven’s op. 18 in F major, while on Wednesday the Arioso Piano Trio performed an extract from Alec Rowley’s Short Trio on English Tunes.

Both groups competed at the South East Schools Chamber Music Competition on Wednesday 2 March. We will have a full report on the competition next week.
