Queenswood Musician of the Year 2024
Friday 8 March 2024
We enjoyed a fantastic night of music-making in the Ernest Read Hall on Thursday 7 March as over 20 finalists competed for the title of Queenswood Musician of the Year 2024.
The competition was split into two categories, with prizes for singers and instrumentalists. More than 40 pupils had entered the preliminary rounds, and 21 were selected to perform in the Finalists Concert.
Our adjudicator was Daniel Ephgrave, a highly sought-after freelance musician who specialises in flute and reed instruments.
There were winners in each category for both the Lower School (Years 7 – 9) and Upper School (Years 10 – 13), along with overall winners and runners-up .
