It was wonderful to host our 11+ Assessment days during the past two weeks.  The excitement was tangible as 176 prospective Queenswood pupils joined us for our newly-designed entrance events, for the first time being held in full before Christmas.

The girls sat their entrance examinations in either our state of the art indoor sporting facility, Queenswood Hall, or the beautiful, book-lined Library, all the while being carefully looked after by our own team of invigilators led by Mrs Vine, Examinations Officer.

A scrumptious lunch was provided by our legendary Catering team including choices such as toasted paninis, pizza and pulled pork with noodles. The meal was rounded off with a plethora of delicious desserts – chocolate brownies being the most popular. Even the lunch queue was a memorable experience as the girls were entertained by our very own Henry VIII in the form of Assistant Head Mr Daughton. Fortunately, no heads rolled on the day!

After lunch the pupils enjoyed an afternoon of fun activities including team challenges and designing their own Queenswood shield, which they were able to take home. During this time, each girl was taken by the Admissions team for their interview, where they delighted our Senior Leadership Team and members of academic staff as they discussed their interests and aspirations.

The assessment days were particularly special for our Admissions team who support our prospective families at every step on their Queenswood admissions journey. Many families kindly expressed their thanks to the team for organising the assessments, with one parent writing:
