We are proud to announce that Queenswood’s 1st XI have once again been crowned Hertfordshire champions in the first round of the National Schools competition. We will progress to the East Round in two weeks time.

The girls scored an emphatic sequence of victories to secure their place in the next round:

• vs Hockerill 3-0
• vs Aldenham 5-0
• vs Dame Alice Owens 2-0
• Semi Final vs Haileybury 2-2 – Queenswood won on penalties
• Final v Bishops Stortford College 2-1

This was our eighth consecutive victory. We must pay special tribute to Amy Kee (OQ), who has featured in five of the eight victories – three as a player, and two as a coach. An amazing record!
