Several Queenswood sports stars were in individual competition over the weekend of 13-14 May.

Clara Mee (Year 8, above) competed at the Middlesex County Championships. She achieved the bronze medal in the high jump, 6th place in the hurdles and 5th in the long jump at Middlesex county champs. It was an astonishingly busy weekend for Clara – she was also in competition at the Olympic Park pool in the London Regional Swimming Championships for 200m breaststroke. Unfortunately she did not make the final, but it was an amazing venue to swim in!

Also at the Middlesex County Championships, Ellie Gilmore (Year 9, above right) achieved a personal best in the 800m, and finished 4th in her heat, Meanwhile, Jess Hurley (Lower Sixth, above left) was placed second in the 400m at the Hertfordshire County Championships.
