Former Head Girl Amaka Onyeagwara visited Queenswood on Friday 22 November to talk to Academic Scholars about the year she spent working in France. 

The scholars were entertained to hear of her experiences and her thoughts on French culture, including education, bureaucracy, industrial action and very long lunch breaks. 

It was definitely inspiring, and current scholars are already making plans for their own future ‘year abroad’.
