MR PAINE, HEAD OF MATHEMATICS

Maths lunchtime support sessions are going strong this term and we are delighted that so many students take advantage of the help available. The sessions run Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday lunchtimes 13:45-14:15 in F6. All are very welcome to attend by dropping in for the whole or only part of the session for help, extension questions or puzzles.

The pictures are from Monday’s session where we had students from year 7, 9, 12 and 13. Some students were asking for help with their study tasks, some preparing for upcoming assessments and some preparing for university entrance exams. Special mention to Cici C and Elizabeth J (Year 13) preparing for the MAT and NSAA respectively on Wednesday and Thursday next week. They have worked incredibly hard and made particularly good use of the maths session to support their preparations. Everyone in the Maths department would like to wish them good luck for next week.
