Bebras 2023 – Queenswood’s Coders Invited to Compete in Oxford University Computing Challenge

As part of Queenswood’s Computer Science course, the school entered the Bebras Computing Challenge during the week of November 13–17. The challenge involves students taking a set of in-class computing tasks.
Bebras is a well-established competition that is carried out in over fifty countries and is sponsored by Oxford University and the Raspberry Pi Foundation. It is delivered through a series of problem solving and computational thinking challenges.
Across the school, 39 students were awarded distinction. In addition, the following students were in the top 10% of entrants nationwide, and have been invited to participate in a further challenge, known as the Oxford University Computing Challenge, later in the school year.
