Mrs Platt-Hawkins is pleased to announce a festive Art competition for all pupils.

Rules and Guidelines:

Medium: Participants can use any medium they prefer, such as:

• Paint (acrylic, oil, watercolour)
• Drawing (pencil, charcoal, coloured pencil)
• Digital art (using software such as Procreate, Pixlr, Photopea, Adobe Photoshop, etc.)
• Collage
• 3D sculpture (recycled material, clay, found objects)

Size: Portraits can be small or large - you must be able to transport and carry it safely.

Theme: All entries must depict Santa Claus in a festive Christmas setting.

Originality: Entries must be your own original artwork.

Submission: Entries should be submitted to Mrs Platt-Hawkins in Art1

Prizes: Every entry receives a Queenswood Quality for Creativity

First Prize: Special Christmas treat
Second Prize: Special Christmas treat
Third Prize: Special Christmas treat

5 x House Points for best collage
5 x House Points for best use of recycled materials /found objects
5 x House Points for best digital art (digital artwork should be printed)
5 x House Points for best painting
5 x House Points for best drawing (black & white or colour)
5 x House Points for best use of the colour red
5 x House Points for most imaginative artwork
5 x House Points for best effort

20 x House Points will be awarded to the House with the most entries.
