Co-curricular Clubs in Full Swing!

Friday 9 October 2020

Girls have been making the most of their lunchtime and after-school sessions to take part in a huge array of in-person and online clubs.

Among the scores of activities on offer, this week Year 7 girls were getting to grips with the Ancient Greek alphabet and learning to write their names.

In Media Club, girls from several year groups collaborated online on their first green screen project.

Meanwhile in Art Club, Year 7 pupils were making colourful posters featuring uplifting messages about creativity. These posters will be displayed around the department as an inspiration to Queenswood artists.

In the Year 8 Sewing Bee Club, pupils are busy working on a number of projects. As you can see below, Eva is mastering the sewing machine to make a blanket for her cats, Dastardly and Muttley, Isabella is creating a ‘bum bag’, Amelia is cutting out a pattern for her shoulder bag, and Sophia is at the planning stage as she prepares to design a clutch bag.
