Colette Bacon (Year 9) has had a fantastic year of competitive sailing, culminating in a much-coveted place in the RYA (Royal Yachting Association) 420 Transitional Squad.

The RYA 420 makes the transition forsailors to the National Youth Squad. Colette and her helm took part in a series of races over a three month period and triumphed in the National End of Season Championship.

She is the youngest by some years  to
be invited to the squad – a truly impressive achievement.
