Competition: Create a Computer Animation, Short Film or Digital Artwork

Why not unleash your creativity during the half-term holiday? Mrs Platt-Hawkins, Head of Art and Photography, is launching an exciting competition for enthisiastic digital artists.
There are three categories: Computer Animation, Short Film and Digital Artwork. Entries must be submitted by email no later than Monday 1 November 2021.

Computer Animation Submissions
These must be animated. Entries to be a maximum of 3 minutes in length. There is no minimum length. The pieces can be any form of animation, for example, stop motion animation, animated drawings, or using digital animation software such as ‘Scratch’. Animation entries must be complete at the time of entry, uploaded to YouTube, and made available for public view. Entries submitted without a YouTube link will not be accepted. Entries must not be amended or edited after submission.

Short Film Submissions
These can be any type of live action short film. Animated forms should be submitted within the computer animation category. Entries to be a maximum of 3 minutes in length. There is no minimum length. Film entries must be complete at the time of entry, uploaded to YouTube, and made available for public view. Entries submitted without a YouTube link will not be accepted. Entries must not be amended or edited after submission.

Digital Art Submissions
Any artwork produced using the aid of computers, tablets or other digital devices. It includes digitally enhanced or edited photography, as well as art produced using design software, or creative programmes, such as ‘Draw’. Digital art must be submitted in the form of a JPEG, maximum size 10 MB.
