It was a particularly busy weekend for our Badminton players on 15–16 November.

On Saturday 15, theU16 and U18 teams took part in the Royal Masonic Invitation Doubles.
The standard of play was excellent, and the scores very close. After ten matches our
U18 pair of May Ching Lai and Gretchen Kwong were place third and our U16 pair of
Charmaine Ng and Victoria Mangan were placed fourth.

On Sunday 16, our 14 players from the Senior
Badminton squad took part in the Herts Schools Singles and Doubles tournaments.
The squad was captained by Julia Wong (Upper Sixth) who had some great results.

Particular credit must go to Gretchen Kwong (Year 11) who reached the semi-final of the singles and played some impressive
Badminton.  Natalie So, also impressed
playing with Gretchen in the doubles to reach the semi-finals and triumphing in
the plate singles.

The U18s are now the holders of the Herts Schools Badminton trophy as highest scoring school overall.

The U13B singles took place on Sunday. Amba Sharma
(Year 8) played her best and was runner-up.
