Queenswood Music Scholar Eleanor Grant (Year 10) sang John Lennon’s ‘Imagine’ as crowds gathered by the River Thames on New Year’s Eve.

Young people in capitals across the world performed the song on 31 December, in an initiative led by UNICEF to help inspire a global movement towards a better future for every child. Eleanor was chosen to represent the UK, and her performance, at a white piano overlooking the Houses of Parliament, with similar events taking place in New York, Cape Town and Rio de Janeiro.
