Queenswood paid tribute to retiring Principal, Mrs Pauline Edgar, at an elegant and emotional Speech Day Ceremony on Saturday 2 July.

The end of Mrs Edgar’s tenure as Principal also brought to a close a distinguished career as a teacher of History, so it was fitting that there was a historical theme to the ceremony – both in the sketches performed by the History and Drama students, and in the inspirational address by renowned Tudor historian, Dr Suzannah Lipscomb.

Before the ceremony, there was an opportunity for parents, guests, governors and OQs to tour exhibitions, view musical performances and watch a film of the year’s academic highlights in the Clarissa Farr Theatre.
