Five Queenswood groups in Amnesty International Songwriting Semi-Finals

Five groups of Queenswood music students have made it to the Top 10 of the Amnesty UK Youth Awards 2016 for the third year in succession – a huge honour!
We hope that this year’s shortlisted pupils will make it all the way to the final and win the coveted prize, following in the footsteps of Ely Burrows, Annabel Brin and Leah Grant who won the competition outright two years ago.
This year, 17 girls from Years 9 and 10 were selected by the Amnesty UK Youth Awards judging panel for the semi-finals of this inspiring competition that is run annually to raise awareness of the Human Rights violations that occur around the world every day.
