SATURDAY 25 MARCH
Great first evening in Iceland, stopping off at the Bridge between Continents.

The Lava Centre and Skogafoss
Lovely walk along the Black Beach looking at the basalt columns.
Such a fun glacier walk. Lots to learn about ice and the impacts of Climate Change on the glacier and lagoon.
SUNDAY 26 MARCH

A very snowy walk to see the magnificent two stage waterfall at Gulfoss.

MONDAY 27 MARCH
Walking along the Mid Atlantic Ridge where the Eurasian and North American tectonic plates pull apart. This is also the site where Iceland's parliament was established in 930AD.
Early morning visit to the most voluminous waterfall in Iceland.
Great visit learning about geo thermal power and the Carbonfix project developing technologies in sequestration.
The Lava Show experience. Learning lots about what real lava does.
Hallgrimskirkja Cathedral and Leif Eriksson statue.
Walking tour of Reykjavik.
Rainbow Street.
Year 10 smashed the Escape Rooms!
