It’s the time of year when we begin to think about nominations for the 2017 Global Young Leaders Conference. The Lower Sixth have enjoyed a presentation from some of last year’s participants, and we were delighted to receive a certificate from the GYLC listing some of our former representatives.

Each year, the school nominates a number of Sixth Formers for the prestigious Global Young Leaders Conference. Those selected have the opportunity to travel to America, China or Europe to meet and discuss the issues of the day with fellow students. Likewise, girls considering a Gap Year are encouraged to apply to the ESU Secondary School Exchange Programme, whereby they can spend a year in an American High School.
