On Saturday 18 March, we were delighted to be joined by Hannah Macleod, Olympic Hockey Gold Medalist.

Hannah was a member of the GB squad who won Gold at the Rio Olympics in 2016. The day before her visit to Queenswood, she attended Buckingham Palace to collect her MBE!

Queenswood is in partnership with St Albans Hockey club where Hannah plays. After coaching our Year 7s, assisted by some of our Hockey Scholars, she headed off for the last National league game of the season (v Northampton), along with Hockey Scholar Catryn Langley, who is also a member of the St Albans 1st team squad.

It was a great match and St Albans were comfortable winners.
