Waller’s House Supper of 2022 was incredible! From decorating the dining hall with holographic streamers to presenting prizes, as Waller’s Head of House, I’ve had a wonderful time organising the event and hosting it.

Our theme this year was 2000s Big Night In! which involved the likes of Juicy Couture, 2000s movie characters and lots of fun outfits! Staff and students got involved with Charity Bingo, taking photos in the Photo Booth area, dancing to the Macarena and enjoying the delicious dinner thanks to our brilliant Catering team.

After hearing about the events going on in Ukraine, we felt motivated to make a difference. This was a way for us at Q, to pay respect to Ukraine and the Ukrainian students at our school. Through our Charity Bingo, we managed to raise over £315 to put towards Queenswood's Ukraine appeal being organised in conjunction with St Columba's School.

Prizes were also handed out to Waller students in each year for displaying House spirit throughout the academic year. The winners were as follows:

An additional thanks to Mr Kokkinos for his brilliant DJing at the end of the night; everybody enjoyed a boogie towards 2000s pop hits, Candy by Cameo and even Rasputin by Boney M! Lastly, a massive thank you to our Head of House Mrs Warren and Y12 leadership team for the fantastic evening they planned.
