It was with great sadness that many of us watched the funeral of HRH Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh last weekend. The Queen's husband for 73 years and the longest serving consort in British history, The Duke lived an extraordinary life defined by service.

Launched in 1956, The Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme has enabled millions of young people, including countless Queenswood students, to take on new challenges, learn new skills and contribute to their community. To celebrate the Duke’s inspiring impact on generations of young people and to encourage future generations of participants, the DofE are asking anyone previously or currently involved with the scheme to help build a collection of their DofE stories.  You may wish to contribute yours here.
