On 16 November Queenswood hosted the Annual District Cross Country event. The Queenswood teams were led exceptionally well by Captain Jess Hurley and Vice Captain Lara Sikka. There were standout performances from Sport Scholar Jess Robertson, winning the Year 8 race, Jess Hurley and Holly Hodgskinson came second in their age groups SNR and Year 9, respectively and Sofia Martin finished third in the Year 7 race.

The overall results:

• Year 7: second place

• Year 8: first place
• Year 9: second place
• Seniors: fourth place
• Queenswood finished second in the overall girls’ competition. Well done to all those who competed!
