We are excited to announce that Isabella W (Year 13) has won a prestigious Girls’ School Association photography competition.

She submitted her captivating photograph, ‘Unfreezing Time’, in the Year 10–13 category. The image was originally created as part of her A-Level photography project on the theme of Water, and involved her freezing petals and leaves in a block of ice. She captioned the image with the words, ‘Time stands still as flowers remain beautifully preserved in ice, capturing a fleeting moment of nature’s elegance.’

Mrs Cameron learned of Isabella’s win earlier this week, when she attended the annual GSA conference. She was proud to present Isabella with her winner’s certificate and the prize of a retro Instamatic camera and film in Assembly on Friday morning.
