Jaye Okin (Year 7 – above, centre) enlisted the help of her year group to achieve something truly amazing in June – swimming the equivalent of the width of English Channel to raise money for Noah's Ark Children's Hospice in Barnet.

She easily surpassed not only her target of 1,344 lengths (the girls, staff and parents actually swam more than 2,000 lengths, or 31 miles!) but also her fundraising ambition of £5,000. The total currently stands at over £7,000, and if she reaches £8,219 by the date of her Bat Mitzvah in May 2020 she will be able to fund the running of the charity for an entire day.
