The Speech and Drama Department is celebrating another remarkable set of results, with 9 Distinctions and 4 Merits awarded to the 13 pupils entered for exams last month.

We would particularly like to congratulate the following pupils who achieved Distinctions (over 80%): Audrey H (Speaking in Public, Grade 3);  Aariyah S (Devising Drama, Grade 2); Lottie D, Roza L and Eva G (Acting, Grade 3); Beatrix D and Zoe S (Acting, Grade 4); and Eva B and Meredith R (Acting, Grade 5)

Award-winning LAMDA Speech & Drama and Practical English coaching is offered at Queenswood as a co-curricular activity. The weekly lessons are extremely popular among girls who want to extend their drama and oratorical skills and with those international students who wish to improve their ability to use English as an additional language. Over half the girls in the school take some form of LAMDA examinations.
