Mr Stewart Jordan is Theatre Manager at Queenswood. In his additional capacity as the Quality Lead/Supervisor in our onsite Covid-19 testing facility, he updates us on this week’s lateral flow testing of pupils.

The Asymptomatic Testing Centre sprang back into action this week to ensure a safe return for the Q community. Thanks to excellent work from a cross-departmental team of organisational, registration and testing staff, all pupils who are eligible will have been tested by the end of school on Friday.

At time of writing we maintain our record of all negative results with only one year group remaining. I would like to extend my thanks to all involved for making this a smooth-running, swift and effective process. I wish them and all of you a happy new year, and hope that the new term runs as smoothly with as little evidence of Covid as possible!
