Leiths Introduction to Confident Cooking: Year 12 Pass With Flying Colours

On Tuesday 4 June, five Year 12 pupils marked the culmination of a year of practical cookery lessons with the practical exam for the Leiths Introduction to Confident Cooking course.
Georgia Z, Natalya F-D, Caitlin J, Lucie B and Juniper W were absolutely outstanding. All of them passed the practical element comfortably. I was bursting with pride and the girls showed many ‘Queenswood Qualities’ as they cooked Thai beef salad and Pavlova with mango and lime cream.

The Year 13 students who recently completed their two-year Leiths Introductory Certificate in Food and Wine are in the process of receiving their results, and we will publish these in a future issue of the newsletter
