Year 7 gymnast Maddie Dean has made an excellent start to the season, winning gold in the Milton Keynes Springers Competition at National 1 level.

As well as being a member of Queenswood’s gymnastics and trampolining squads, Maddie is part of the Acro Squadat Hertford Gymnastics. She regularly competes and this year managed to win
silver in the county competition, gold in the regional competition and qualified for National
finals in July where she came 4th in the UK at National 1 level.

She is
due to compete again in a few weeks at the Buckinghamshire Open, where she will be
performing at National 2 level, before moving onto the prelims for next year’s National competition.
