All week, Queenswood mathematicians have been joining up with pupils across the country to participate in online maths challenges, quizzes and activities.

On Monday, Year 12 Further Maths students joined a Zoom workshop on the properties of Pi.

Year 8 took part in the NRICH Factors and Multiples game on Wednesday, along with schools from around the world.

On Thursday, Year 10 GCSE students created beautiful geometric patterns using compasses (see below).

Maths Week England is a grassroots movement established to share the joy of mathematics with everyone. It launched in November 2019; this year more than 600,000 pupils were registered to participate in activities.
