Mental Health Awareness Week
Thursday 18 May 2023
We have been marking Mental Health Awareness Week with a series of activities, talks and drop-in sessions during tutorials, breaktime, lunch and after school.
Pupils have been expressing themselves through paint on a specially created ‘graffiti wall’, learning vital self-defence skills in a Krav Maga workshop, getting crafty at a ‘knit and natter’ session, enjoying dog therapy walks around campus, and engaging in mindfulness colouring activities.
There have been specially themed Chapel services, positive affirmation tutorial sessions, and a talk from wellbeing practitioner Caroline Gruselle.
Thank you to the outgoing and incoming Wellbeing Prefects, Georgie I (Year 13) and Vivie F (Year 12), Miss Sadler (Head of PSCHEE) and her team who have worked so hard to put together the programme of events.
