Mia R’s ski season is finally at an end and it finished with a great result at the British Inter-schools Ski Race Championships. She finished 13th in the U16 Slalom and earned a valuable point for Queenswood School by finishing in the top 10 in the Giant Slalom (10th). This shot Queenswood into 59th place out of 109 Schools.

Schools all brought a selection of ski racers to compete where points were awarded for any school that had a skier finish in the top 10 in their age group and event. Mia was very proud to represent Queenswood and excited that she managed to earn a point for them!

Mia (Year 9) has really improved over the ski season where she started this year 15 seconds behind the race leader in her first event and was only 4 seconds behind the race leader (same girl) in her last event where she finished 8th today at the British Ski Academy Championships.
