Queenswood GCSE students staged a stunning production of Joan Littlewood’s classic musical entertainment at the end of February. The series of songs, sketches and choreographed drill routines allowed every member of the group to multi-role as soldiers, politicians, factory girls and music hall performers.

The play remains as powerful and satirical an indictment of war as it was when first staged in the 1960s. You can watch the whole performance below.
