Beabond collaborates with Arizona Muse’s charity DIRT on a capsule collection DIRT X BEABOND in support of the regeneration of soil. The collection of Coco lockets are designed to raise awareness about the importance of soil regeneration and to raise funds for one of DIRT’s projects in Zimbabwe: 30% from the sales of the Coco locket necklaces will be donated to Kufunda, a learning centre and an eco-village.
The Coco Collection symbolises a seed ‘a source of life with unlimited potential’. The mini sculpture is a vessel to imagine, visualise and dream of solutions for the present and future, the unlimited potential within yourself and within Nature.
The designs source material is the endangered Coco de mer or sea coconut indigenous to the Seychelles; it is the largest and heaviest seed in the world and its distinctive form is often associated with divine femininity. 30% from each sale of the Coco collection is donated to one of DIRT’s projects; Kufunda a learning centre and eco-village in Zimbabwe practicing biodynamic farming. As a collective of pioneers in Biodynamics in Africa, Kufunda are committed to growing the movement in the whole region.
