Eight OQs enjoyed a warm welcome at the Autumn Meeting of the OQ Golf Society, held on 20th September at Chesfield Downs Golf & Country Club, near Stevenage.

The sun shone, the golf (as ever) was mixed, but a wonderfully happy time was had by all, followed by an excellent lunch. As usual, we were very grateful for the goodies sent from Queenswood by Jane van der Maat, to mark the occasion.  First place on the day was won by Tricia Wrinch, second by Liz Needham and third by Sue Proctor.

We would welcome all OQ golfers to join us for our annual friendly gatherings, which are usually held at one of the Hertfordshire clubs, as this is the easiest geography for the group.

Next year's event will be hosted by Kate Eckett on Monday 3rd October 2022 at Ashridge Golf club.
