Pedalling for a Purpose: Ms Greensmith Completes Her Epic Charity Cycle Ride
Friday 6 September 2024
Over the summer break in August, my friend and I completed our challenge of cycling Lands' End to John O’Groats. The 2nd leg started in Telford and took us 12 days to get to John O’Groats (1087km). This route was definitely a challenge, taking us over the Cairngorm National Park during a yellow weather warning, which if you haven’t been, is the ski resort in Scotland. In total we cycled 1679km, over 17 days!
Thank you to everyone who donated; your messages and donations really did help us through the wet and windy days. This challenge was in aid of The Jack Lonergan Foundation, which was a foundation set up in memory of a friend and ex-colleague. The foundation supports young people in South London to access music lessons.

Thank you again for your support.
