What a successful term it has been for the Queenswood Polo Club. Captain Maha B L, and her team of Saskia G, Lucy H, Roza L, Eva G, Zahra K-E and Alisa X have pushed themselves week after week to develop their Polo skills.

While competent riders, most of the girls had never played Polo before and they have been determined to push themselves out of their comfort zone. Under the superb instruction of Alec Banner-Eve from Silver Leys Polo club, the girls are now at a level where they feel confident to participate in matches.

Two highlights from the term were the Polo Schools Day that Saskia and Lucy joined and the Silver Leys mini schools tournament where Queenswood fielded an A and a B team against some very experienced and tough opposition.

We could not be prouder of the enthusiasm the girls have brought to each session and their resilience to persevere with new skills that at times have been challenging to learn. Exciting times are ahead for the Queenswood Polo teams.
