In last week's newsletter we showed you the Design and Technology Department on our virtual tour of Queenswood.  At this point on a real-life tour, the Admissions team move on to see the Art Department.

Pupils joining Queenswood in Year 7 will receive a one-hour Art lesson each week and there is also lunchtime co-curricular club for Years 7, 8 and 9.

Fine Art is a very popular option at GCSE, and in the Sixth Form pupils can choose to specialise in Fine Art, Photography or Graphic Design.

Our Art Scholars have the opportunity to work with supremely talented students from every year group in the School on a range of exciting creative projects. They also benefit from sessions with Queenswood’s Visiting Artist, as well as regular full-day workshops with specialists in disciplines such as animation, screen printing and etching, and trips to galleries and exhibitions in London.
