Year 8 artists spent an enriching day in London last term, sketching architectural forms and capturing the bustling atmosphere of King’s Cross, before visiting the amazing immersive David Hockney exhibition ‘Bigger and Closer’ at the new Lightroom gallery.

Back at Queenswood, our Art Scholars, pupils and parents enjoyed a truly authentic life drawing class. The two hour session led to some exemplary drawing from observation in a range of media including pencil, pen, watercolour and pastel.
